Review on Bh Cosmetics Wild Brush Set..

I am a makeup brush hoarder!! Guilty but proud! I just love makeup brushes and can't help but buy more.. No matter how many brushes I own, I still have room for loads more :D.. I understand that I have only a single tiny face ( with huge eyes though :p) and I probably won't ever use each and every brush for a look.. But I still enjoy hoarding them and I cannot help it..( psychological issues? Yeah!)

So my lovely readers.. Today I bring to you a review on this chic looking brush set by my ever favorite brand for brushes - "BH Cosmetics". I just drool over their brush sets every time I view their website! They are so affordable yet high quality and you can never go wrong with a BH Brush.

The set under spotlight today is the "12 Piece Wild Brush Set". It comes in a beautiful buttoned container which separates into two holders for storage of the brushes and you can join them back to store and protect your brushes while travelling. The holder is covered in a beautiful coral leather material with a black and gray wild print on it. It is very neatly made. It is pretty sturdy and looks amazing on my vanity!

The set contains a total of 12 brushes. You get 4 face brushes and 8 eye and lip brushes. The brushes come in separate plastic wraps. They have beautiful coral handles with 'Bh Cosmetics" written on them. Each brush is also numbered. The handles are quite sturdy.  The bristles are synthetic and extremely soft and fluffy. I have washed them multiple times and there was no shedding and are still super soft! These brushes work well with both cream and powder products and are great at blending.

Here is a description of each brush:

XL Powder Brush:

It is a really large fluffy and super soft brush. It is great for applying powder all over the face. It can also be used to buff in the foundation.

Tapered Contour and Powder Brush:

This is a tapered dome shaped brush. It is great for powder or blush application and for blending the contours. It works well with both cream and powder products. I love it for blush application. It is really soft on the skin.

Blush Brush:

It is a basic blush brush with a slightly dome shaped top. It is great for precision application of the blush. It is not too dense and is really soft and fluffy. I use it to apply highlighter.

Highlighting Brush:

It is quite similar to the blush brush but the bristles are a bit shorter and denser. I like using it to blend out the contours as I find it a bit too dense to apply the highlighter.

Tapered Blending Brush:

This is such a great brush for blending eyeshadows in the crease. It is long and fluffy but not too dense. It gives a perfect and precise application.  I am in love with it!

Medium Shader Brush:

This is a basic flat eyeshadow brush for applying the base eyeshadow all over the lid.

Small Shader Brush:

It is similar to the medium shader brush but a tad bit slimmer. This is used for applying eyeshadow all over the lid.

Bullet Smudger Brush:

It is a dome shaped pencil brush. It is great for precisely applying the eyeshadows in the crease and outer corners of the eyes before blending them. It can also be used for smudging the eyeliner on the lower or upper lash line.

Tapered Liner Brush:

It is a long slim tapered brush. It is supposed to be a liner brush but I think its too thick for that. I use it for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes and it works great at that!

Angled Brow and Liner Brush:

This is a medium sized angled brush. It can be used for applying eyeliner. But I prefer to use it for shaping my eyebrows.

Lip Brush:

This is a normal lip brush. I feel it is rather great for contouring the nose as it gives quite a precise contour.

Spooley Brush:

Finally the spooley brush which I love to use while shaping my eyebrows. I use it daily just to brush my eyebrows into place .

The quality of these brushes is amazing for the price paid. You can order them directly from the BH Cosmetics website here. It retails for $14 only.

I got mine through Zensky for PKR 2250.

I hope you enjoyed this post :)
