Glamorize with Sundas: Review: Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer in Keep Crying for You

I am a lip product addict! I just can't stop buying lip products no matter how many i own.. They are the love of my life and my favourite part of makeup! It gives me immense joy and satisfaction when i swipe the colour over my lips...

Recently i metioned in a post about my mini Makeup Revolution Haul. You can check it out here. The Makeup Revolution Salvation Lip Lacquer was one of the items i purchased. I have been using it and so i decided to write down a review on it as lip lacquers are the "new thing" these days and to have an affordable option is great!

These lip lacquers basically come in two forms- The Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquers and The Salvation Intense Lip Lacquers. The Intense Lip Lacquers have a glossy finish to them while the Velvet Lip Lacquers apply glossy but dry to a matte finish.

Globally they are available in 11 shades having beautiful pinks, purples, a peach, a red, a nude and even a black shade! However in Pakistan only 6 shades are available:

What I Believe - A nude light pink shade.
You Took My Love - A hot pink shade.
Keep Trying For You - A beautiful red shade.
Keep Flying For You - A peachy orange shade.
Keep Crying For You - A medium bright pink shade.
I Fall in Love - A pink with a hint of purple.

I bought the shade "Keep Crying For You". It is a beautiful bright pink great for spring and summer times.. The shade at first seemed a bit too bright but once i tried it on, i was pleased :)

The packaging is so beautiful! It comes in a pretty shiny rose gold cardboard box which is quite fancy and attractive. The front has the name while the back bears the ingredients alongwith product description.

The lip lacquer is in a clear lip gloss kind of tube. It is not at all cheap looking. It is quite sturdy and i haven't noticed any leakage by far. The shade name is also mentioned on the tube. It has a classic dome shaped applicator which is quite soft and eases the application.

Now coming to the lip lacquer itself.. It is a heaven to apply! It is super creamy and buttery. It applies evenly and has great pigmentation. It has a mild scent to it which i actually love! It does not dry out the lips like most matte products would and lasts a really long time on my lips.. I hardly need any touch ups! It applies on glossy but once it is fully dry, it has a matte finish which does not smudge at all. It dries pretty fast but you still get enough time to apply it evenly. It feels super light on the lips and once it dries, it is not sticky at all. However i do avoid pressing my lips together while its drying as that messes it up!
